Matrimonial Sites Fraud Alert: Your ideal life partner could be a conman

Some tips and precautions that a girl or women should keep in mind while making account on Matrimonial sites..

Matrimonial sites such as Shaadi.com, BharatMatrimony.com, Jeevansaathi.com, SimplyMarry.com, etc. have become the hunting ground for cyber criminals in recent times. You may think that you have finally found your ideal life partner, but think again, because the person you may have been communicating with could easily be a conman. Every year, thousands of matrimonial related fraud cases are registered with the police across the country. The targets are usually women, but cases involving men being conned have also been reported. To avoid such frauds, let’s take a look at some of the most common tricks employed by fraudsters on matrimonial sites.

Demand for money: Such cases occur after the fraudster has built a good rapport with the victim. The fraudster will tell the victim that they have sent a very costly gift, but the same is stuck with the customs department. They will then ask the victim to transfer money to a specific bank account to get the gift released from customs. In some cases, fraudsters also demand money to purchase or build a house on the promise of marriage. However, once they receive the money, they stop communicating with the victim. People have lost lakhs of rupees due to such frauds. Women in their 30s and 40s are most vulnerable, as they have an urgent need to find a partner and settle down. Fraudsters know their weakness and exploit it fully to rob them of their life’s savings.

Identity theft: In such cases, the fraudster will ask for your personal details such as your phone number, email address, bank account details, PAN card, Aadhaar details, etc. To make you believe, the fraudster can give you logical reasons such as investing in a home for your future life, getting the documents ready for the marriage registration, getting your visa/passport processed, etc. The fraudster will basically sell you a dream and get all your confidential information in exchange. From there, you can imagine what they can do. They can use your personal information for getting loans from banks, committing other frauds and criminal acts, etc.

Blackmail: People looking for a life partner on matrimonial sites often start communicating on social media and online chat. Once the fraudster wins the confidence of the victim, they will start getting intimate online and may ask for webcam chatting or private pictures. The victim obliges since they think that they have already found their ideal life partner. Once the fraudster gets the intimate video or photo of the victim, they start blackmailing them. The most common threat given to the victim is that their intimate photos or videos will be uploaded on the internet if they don’t pay up.

Fake profiles and Bullying: Some people just visit matrimonial sites to bully others who may be genuinely looking for a life partner. Bullies can abuse you on your mobile number or through the communication system on the matrimonial site. Bullies can send you dirty messages and images and they are not afraid since it is likely that they have created a fake profile on the matrimonial site. Bullies will continue to trouble you until you report the matter to the police or change your phone number and other details.

Fraudsters are quite intelligent and they continue to find new ways to deceive people on matrimonial sites. So, always be watchful when searching for your life partner on matrimonial sites. Never transfer money online, don’t share your personal details, and never get intimate on online communication platforms. A genuine person will never demand such things from you. A genuine person will only be looking for a suitable life partner, just like you are. Anything else could be a potential fraud, wherein you simply need to say “NO”.

6 OCTOBER 2017 | ANTANANARIVO, MADAGASCAR – WHO has delivered nearly 1.2 million doses of antibiotics and released US$1.5 million dollars in emergency funds to fight plague in Madagascar.

“Plague is curable if detected in time. Our teams are working to ensure that everyone at risk has access to protection and treatment. The faster we move, the more lives we save,” said Dr. Charlotte Ndiaye, WHO Representative in Madagascar.

WHO has delivered 1 190 000 doses of antibiotics to the Ministry of Health and partners this week, and a further supply of 244 000 doses is expected in the days ahead.

The different types of drugs will be used for both curative and prophylactic care. They are enough to treat up to 5000 patients and protect up to 100 000 people who may be exposed to the disease.

The medicines are being distributed to health facilities and mobile health clinics across the country with the support of the Ministry of Health and partners.

WHO is also filling critical shortages in disinfection materials and personal protective equipment for health professionals and safe burials.

WHO and the Ministry of Health are training local health workers on how to identify and care for patients, and how to trace people who have had close contact with symptomatic patients so that they may be given protective treatment.

Most of the 231 infections and 33 deaths that the Ministry of Health has reported since August are associated with pneumonic plague – a more dangerous form of the disease that affects the lungs and is transmitted through coughing at close range.

Both bubonic and pneumonic plague can be cured using common antibiotics if delivered early. Antibiotics can also help prevent infection among people who have been exposed to plague.

WHO has rapidly released $1.5 Million from it emergency funds to allow for immediate support to the country until more substantial funds are received.

WHO is appealing for US$5.5 million to effectively respond to the outbreak and save lives.

Geared Turbofan™ Technology as Part of FAA Sustainability Program

EAST HARTFORD, Conn., Oct. 13, 2017 – Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX), recently completed over 175 hours of ground testing of a next-generation Geared Turbofan (GTF) engine propulsor technology as part of the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Continuous Lower Energy, Emissions and Noise (CLEEN) program, an FAA NextGen initiative to accelerate the development of environmentally-friendly aircraft technologies. The full-scale test, conducted in West Palm Beach, Fla., marks exactly 10 years since Pratt & Whitney first successfully demonstrated the GTF engine, a revolutionary new engine that delivers 16 percent better fuel efficiency, 50 percent fewer emissions and a 75 percent smaller noise footprint.

This advancement builds on the completion of 275 hours of fan rig testing of the technology in 2014 and 2015. The demonstrator used an existing development engine from a certified Geared TurboFan product to validate the performance capability of a second-generation, ultra-high bypass fan design. The engine successfully operated in a design space never before demonstrated with significantly fewer lower-pressure ratio blades than the current production engine, and a shorter duct inlet. The rig and engine tests are expected to demonstrate a suite of technologies that will help decrease fuel burn an additional 2 percent.

A key element in the technology maturation is the development and application of highly-integrated Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools, a key capability of United Technologies Corporation, which provided accurate predictions and design guidance to enable rig-to-engine scalability and optimized performance. A comprehensive aerodynamic, aeromechanical and acoustic test program showed the technology contributing significantly to meeting FAA CLEEN fuel burn, emissions and acoustic program goals, demonstrating again UTC’s leadership in technology and manufacturing.

“The success of this ground test is an important step in taking our Geared Turbofan engine technology to the next level,” said Alan Epstein, vice president of Technology and Environment for Pratt & Whitney. “With our partners in the FAA, we can ensure that the next generation of the GTF engine – already itself a game-changer – is on the cutting edge of performance and sustainability, keeping the environment and the communities that surround airports in mind.”

Pratt & Whitney continues to advance the compressor and turbine technology in collaboration with the FAA as part of the CLEEN II program, a follow-on program that develops and demonstrates aircraft technology and alternative jet fuels.

The FAA, a division of the United States Department of Transportation, is the national aviation authority for the United States. Initially founded in 1958, and later renamed in 1966, the FAA’s mission is to “provide the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world.” The FAA is responsible for regulating the air transportation industry and maintains a nationwide network of air traffic control systems. The Continuous Lower Energy, Emissions and Noise (CLEEN) program is an FAA initiative to accelerate the development of environmentally friendly aircraft technologies. The program is part of Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) and focuses on the reduction of aircraft noise, emissions and fuel burn.

In what experts are saying as a major shift in India-US ties, the US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said today that US finds India as a reliable partner in today’s chaotic social, political and economic conditions present in the world. This was the first major India policy speech given by the US Secretary of State in the Trump administration. At the start of the speech, Tillerson wished everyone a happy Diwali in India and across the globe as well. He said that India would be an important partner for the US in the next 100 years since it has a significant role to play in the Indo-Pacific region. He said that US and India will work together to benefit each other and focus on establishing peace and stability. Tillerson said that defense ties between the two countries are already on the rise and energy cooperation is also expanding.

He said that relations between any two countries are based on the interactions between its people and in this area, the two countries already share an advantageous position. He said that 1.2 million Americans visited India in 2016 and 4 million Indian Americans already live in the US. He pointed out that trade and business is growing and value of bilateral trade between the two countries has reached a massive $115 billion. During his speech, Tillerson targeted China and said that China has undertaken provocative actions in the South China Sea. Tillerson also talked about Pakistan ad said that the country should change its old ways and work towards peace and prosperity.

Houses of 30 Hindu families burnt by massive crowd in Bangladesh

In a tragic and horrifying incident, a massive crowd of people in Bangladesh has burnt around 30 houses of Hindu families. The incident occurred due to rumors that a member of the Hindu community has shared an offensive post about Prophet Mohammed on Facebook. The incident occurred in Thakurpara village, which is in Rangpur district, around 300 km from capital city Dhaka. The situation could have become worse if the police had not intervened. The police fired tear gas shells and rubber bullets to control the rampaging crowd. The police also had to open fire at the mob, which resulted in the death of one person. Around five people are also reported to have suffered bullet injuries. However, before the police had arrived, the mob had already burnt around 30 houses of Hindu families and vandalized and looted them.

The police have made several arrests in the incident and an investigation is underway. It has been reported that there was a massive crowd of 20,000 people who had gathered from various villages located nearby. With such a huge crowd, the police were finding it difficult to control the situation. A three-member inquiry committee has been set up to investigate the matter. The situation is still tense in the area, as the people are protesting against police action. The incident yet again shows that minority communities across the globe continue to be threatened and face a wide variety of challenges.

Muslims denounce New York truck attack; say attacker deserves death

After Sayfullo Saipov carried out a terror attack in New York using his truck that killed eight people and injured at least 11, Muslims in a nearby mosque have condemned the act and said that the attacked deserves the death penalty. Saipov is currently in hospital in a critical condition. It is being speculated that the attacker may have attended the mosque before carrying out the deadly attack. Some of the worshippers at the Omar Mosque in Paterson, which is located near to the attacker’s home, said that what Saipov did was ridiculous and he should be hanged. The police have classified the incident as a terror attack, as investigations have revealed that Saipov is likely to be influenced by the Islamic State and he may have been brainwashed into committing the terror attack. Saipov’s attack appears to be influenced by similar attacks witnessed in France and Germany.

Saipov originally hails from Uzbekistan and he worked in New York as an Uber driver. He also had formed two commercial truck businesses. People who knew Saipov said that they never thought that Saipov would do such a thing. They said that Saipov was a hard-working man and he had good relations with his neighbors. Moreover, he did not have any presence on social media, which indicates that he may have been radicalized locally. Saipov is 29 years old and he came to US legally in 2010. Investigations are being carried out to ascertain the motive behind the attack and to identify other people who may have been involved.

Launch of special initiative to address climate change impact on health in Small Island Developing States

impact of air pollution newspatrolling

12 November 2017 | BONN, Germany – Today, at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP23), the World Health Organization, in collaboration with the UN Climate Change secretariat and in partnership with the Fijian Presidency of the twenty-third Conference of the Parties (COP23), has launched a special initiative to protect people living in Small Island Developing States from the heath impacts of climate change.

The vision is that, by 2030, all Small Island Developing States will have health systems that are resilient to climate change and countries around the world will be reducing their carbon emissions both to protect the most vulnerable from climate risks and deliver large health benefits in carbon-emitting countries.

The initiative has 4 main goals.

First, to amplify the voices of health leaders in Small Island Developing States, so they have more impact at home and internationally.

Second, to gather the evidence to support the business case for investment in climate change and health.

Third, to promote policies that improve preparedness and prevention, including “climate proof” health systems.

Fourth, to triple the levels of international financial support to climate and health in small island developing states.

“People living in Small Island Developing States are on the frontline of extreme weather events, rising sea levels and increased risk of infectious disease,” said Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of WHO. “We owe it to these people to do everything we can to help them prepare for the future that is already washing up on their shores.”

“We in Fiji know all too well that climate change poses a serious threat to the health of our people. I’m delighted that we are launching this initiative – in partnership with the WHO and UNFCCC – to better equip small island states like ours with the knowledge, resources and technology to increase the resilience of their health systems, as part of larger efforts to adapt to climate change,” said Fijian Prime Minister and COP23 President Frank Bainimarama.

Patricia Espinosa, Executive Secretary of UN Climate Change, said: “Climate change will increasingly impact the health and well-being of people everywhere unless nations fully implement the Paris Agreement”.

“Small islands are in the frontline from extreme weather events that can contaminate drinking water to health-hazardous heatwaves and the spread of infectious diseases. This initiative can strengthen the response of small islands to the rising risks as the world works to ensure that together we keep a global temperature rise well below 2 degrees C and better, no higher than 1.5 degrees, “ she said.

Small Island Developing States have long been recognized as especially vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change. Their situation is highlighted in the UNFCCC, by Ministers of Health at the 2008 World Health Assembly, and in the 2015 Paris Agreement.

They have also pioneered innovative approaches to improve the resilience of their health systems to climate change. As well as emitting a small proportion of the greenhouse gases that are driving climate change, many are further reducing their already low carbon emissions.

“Small Island Developing States are ready to take leadership towards green, resilient and health-promoting national development – but the support of the international community is essential,” said Dr Joy St John, recently appointed Assistant Director-General for Climate and Other Determinants of Health at WHO.

“Less than 1.5% of international finance for climate change adaptation is allocated to projects which ensure that the health of all people is preserved, and only a fraction of this supports small island developing states. The recent severe weather events in the Caribbean demonstrate that targeted interventions are important. We need to do much more and we need to act very quickly.”

Country ownership is a central principle of this initiative. Ministers of health from some of the most affected countries have already started to provide input through consultation with WHO’s Director-General and at WHO Regional Committee meetings, and this process will continue.

Since 2015, WHO has been working with the UNFCCC secretariat to develop detailed country profiles to assess risks, and provide tailored advice on how these countries can adapt to, and mitigate, the health effects of climate change.  More than 45 country profiles have already been completed and, as part of this initiative, WHO commits to publishing a country profile for all small island developing states by the end of 2018.

Many national health actors, development and United Nations agencies are already making important contributions to protect health in small island developing states. WHO’s initiative aims to bring together existing and new efforts and scale them up so they achieve maximum impact.

“The vision is that, by 2030, all health systems in small island developing states will be able to withstand climate variability and change,” adds Dr St John. “And, of course, that countries around the world will have substantially reduced carbon emissions.”

Stop using antibiotics in healthy animals to prevent the spread of antibiotic resistance

stop using antibiotic newspatrolling

7 November 2017 | Geneva – WHO is recommending that farmers and the food industry stop using antibiotics routinely to promote growth and prevent disease in healthy animals.

The new WHO recommendations aim to help preserve the effectiveness of antibiotics that are important for human medicine by reducing their unnecessary use in animals. In some countries, approximately 80% of total consumption of medically important antibiotics is in the animal sector, largely for growth promotion in healthy animals.

  • WHO guidelines on use of medically important antimicrobials in food-producing animals

Over-use and misuse of antibiotics in animals and humans is contributing to the rising threat of antibiotic resistance. Some types of bacteria that cause serious infections in humans have already developed resistance to most or all of the available treatments, and there are very few promising options in the research pipeline.

“A lack of effective antibiotics is as serious a security threat as a sudden and deadly disease outbreak,” says Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of WHO. “Strong, sustained action across all sectors is vital if we are to turn back the tide of antimicrobial resistance and keep the world safe.”

A systematic review published today in The Lancet Planetary Health found that interventions that restrict antibiotic use in food-producing animals reduced antibiotic-resistant bacteria in these animals by up to 39%. This research directly informed the development of WHO’s new guidelines.

WHO strongly recommends an overall reduction in the use of all classes of medically important antibiotics in food-producing animals, including complete restriction of these antibiotics for growth promotion and disease prevention without diagnosis. Healthy animals should only receive antibiotics to prevent disease if it has been diagnosed in other animals in the same flock, herd, or fish population.

Where possible, sick animals should be tested to determine the most effective and prudent antibiotic to treat their specific infection. Antibiotics used in animals should be selected from those WHO has listed as being “least important” to human health, and not from those classified as “highest priority critically important”. These antibiotics are often the last line, or one of limited treatments, available to treat serious bacterial infections in humans.

“Scientific evidence demonstrates that overuse of antibiotics in animals can contribute to the emergence of antibiotic resistance,” says Dr Kazuaki Miyagishima, Director of the Department of Food Safety and Zoonoses at WHO. “The volume of antibiotics used in animals is continuing to increase worldwide, driven by a growing demand for foods of animal origin, often produced through intensive animal husbandry.”

Many countries have already taken action to reduce the use of antibiotics in food-producing animals. For example, since 2006, the European Union has banned the use of antibiotics for growth promotion. Consumers are also driving the demand for meat raised without routine use of antibiotics, with some major food chains adopting “antibiotic-free” policies for their meat supplies.

Alternative options to using antibiotics for disease prevention in animals include improving hygiene, better use of vaccination, and changes in animal housing and husbandry practices.

WHO’s Guidelines on use of medically important antimicrobials in food-producing animals build on decades of expert reports and evaluations of the role of agricultural antibiotic use in the increasing threat of antibiotic resistance. They contribute directly to the aims of the Global action plan on antimicrobial resistance adopted by the World Health Assembly in 2015 and the Declaration of the High-Level Meeting of the United Nations General Assembly on Antimicrobial Resistance, adopted in 2016.

Geysar Gurbanov, in his contribution in“Europe’s Next Avoidable War: Nagorno-Karabakh” published by Palgrave MacMillan, has argued that the solution to the conflict lies beyond the realpolitik of the state actors.Apart from his active role in trying to bring peace to the European war-torn nations, Gurbanov, an eminent political figure, journalist, investor and peace activist born in Azerbaijan, over the years has made a tremendous impact through his columns and articles on issues of immigration, religion, and politics in journals and publications across the U.S. and Europe.

Born in Baku, Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic, Geysar spent most of his childhood and youth witnessing a country torn by political chaos, not to mention the constant threat to life and constant refugee crises. Wanting to make the world a better place to live in, Geysar, took to studying law and human rights, first at Baku State University and then in the United States, through a fellowship program of the U.S. Department of State.

Upon completion of his degree, Geysar started his work from his homeland. He took up volunteering with Rotary and subsequently took up advising the Council of European Union in matters of human rights and politics. He has also served as the Director of NATO Information Center. With a professional portfolio of work with OSCE-ODIHR, EPF-CRRC, British Council, and IREX, Geysar decided to run for elections in Azerbaijan. Due to widespread political corruption and electoral fraud, however, he was unable to win.

Summer 2009 saw Geysar Gurbanov take up a month-long mission to Poland via the European Volunteers Service. His experience while volunteering in Chechen refugee camps located in Warsaw enriched his knowledge about ethnic conflicts and refugee crisis. Inspired by his experiences, he took up the mission of peace building across his own country and neighbouring ones. Having his name published by Wikileaks among national consultants to the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan, Geysar had to immigrate to the U.S. where he received political asylum. Nevertheless, he didn’t give up his mission to restore peace in the world.

Geysar continues to serve his community via Rotary International and local non-profit organizations from his home in Tacoma, Washington. In his free time, the well-read and experienced Geysarpublishes articles on global and local political issues in The News Tribune, TheBellingham Herald, TheU.S. News & World Report, TheSan Antonio Express News, TheBaltimore Sun, TheNews & Observer, TheDuke Chronicle, and TheHarvard Crimson. His activism and flair of penning down issue and solutions to global crises has made him a name to reckon with.

Gurbanov currently owns an investment business and is working on his upcoming book. He is single and stays at his Tacoma, Washington residence.

What Can We Expect At The Men’s Australian Open?

AussieOpen_1 newspatrolling

Men’s tennis hasn’t looked so unpredictable in years. 2017 saw Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal unexpectedly seize the spotlight back from Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray. Several very young players have emerged as serious contenders. And the few men who have won Grand Slams outside the “Big Four” – guys like Stanislas Wawrinka, Juan Marin del Potro, and Marin Cilic – remain capable of breaking through in any given tournament. Throw in several top players looking to return from injury, and there’s no telling what to expect in 2018’s first Grand Slam – which really is only a few weeks away.

2017’s Trends Could Continue

The dominance of Federer and Nadal in 2017 was shocking, inspirational, and for most tennis fans, thrilling. It was also taxing, however. Federer voluntarily skipped the Paris Masters toward the end of the year to ensure good health, and was then upset at the World Tour Finals. Nadal entered the Finals with a nagging knee situation and withdrew after an opening match loss. It could be that we’ll never see another season like 2017 from these two. Then again, would anyone put it past them? One of the biggest stories of the ATP until he retires will be whether or not Federer can reach 20 Grand Slams. At least one tennis legend believes he can, and after 2017 it’s hard to disagree. Nadal, meanwhile, will be trying to catch Federer’s tally whether he reaches 20 or not. Perhaps with all of this motivation, the two greatest players alive will simply
keep rolling.

2017’s Late Breakthroughs Could Stay Hot

As much as 2017 was dominated by legends, we also saw some very good players show flashes of greatness. Kevin Anderson made it all the way to the U.S. Open final, for instance. David Goffin defeated Nadal and later knocked out Federer at the World Tour Finals. Dimitrov, who was one of four debutants at the World Tour Finals alongside Goffin, won the event, finally reaching the sort of potential so many have seen in him for years. Players like these took advantage of opportunities with other top players out injured, and with the Australian Open already approaching so quickly, they may all have a chance to stay hot.

Order Could Be Restored

Back in October, the Australian Open’s website proclaimed that the biggest names in world tennis would be set to return for the January Grand Slam. The article was referring primarily to Djokovic, Murray and Wawrinka, though it also mentioned Kei Nishiokori and we may as well rope in Del Potro (who was hurt after the article was written) as well. These players’ injuries throughout 2017 and particularly late in the year shifted the ATP landscape fairly dramatically. There’s no telling how sharp any of them will be in their early returns, but it could be that regular order in the top-10 is established quite quickly. That is to say, it may be every bit as likely that we see Djokovic, Murray, or Wawrinka in a final as it is that we see Federer or Nadal.

Youth Could Reign

There’s also a chance that Federer and Nadal take a step back, that players returning from injury aren’t sharp yet, and that the players who succeeded late in 2017 don’t maintain their form. This combination of circumstances is perfectly possible, and it would likely lead to a surge of youth, which was already threatened at times in 2017. Players like Alexander Zverv, Dominic Thiem, Nick Kyrgios, and even young American Frances Tiafoe have all shown an ability to compete with the best players on tour. None appear ready for the biggest of moments just yet, but they could all be future Slam champions. And 2018 may bring some early opportunities for them, beginning in Melbourne.

Proactol Plus - A Beginner Guide newspatrolling

Proactol is a fat binder that prevents fat from depositing in your body thus allowing you to answer how to lose 10 pounds in a week. It is a completely natural, organic product and has hardly any side effects. First launched in the UK a few years ago, Proactol is a revolution in the field of weight loss supplements. Many people spend thousands of dollars for weight loss pills and supplements and receive no results, but Proactol is different from these. It attacks the problem of fat from two different angles, with soluble fibers that lower appetite and non-soluble fibers which bind the fat.

How does it work?

People gain excessive weight because of the accumulation of fat in the body. To lose it again, people take up dietary plans and exercise regimens, but it is difficult to maintain a strict dietary plan for extended periods of time, and when people break the dietary plan, they often gain the weight back and then more. Proactol has two benefits, and they combine together to make you lose weight faster and also maintain the weight lost.

These benefits are:

Fat binders – Proactol is prepared in such a way that it binds the fat and forms a gel in your stomach, which is passed out from the body through your bowels. You can eat your delicious dishes, and automatically the percentage of your fat absorption is reduced without any effort on your part.

Appetite suppressants – Proactol makes you feel fuller, so you will eat less food and will stay fuller for a longer period of time once the meal is over. As a result, there will be less calorie intake, which means less fat.

In both ways, Proactol helps you. It absorbs fats and also helps you maintain your diet plan by reducing your appetite. If you want to see a dramatic change in your weight, adopt a regular exercise plan as well.

Advantages:

Proactol reduces excess body weight.

It helps to maintain your goal weight once you reach it.

It binds 30% of the fat from your food intake.

It reduces cholesterol levels and lowers the appetite to reduce food cravings.

You can continue to eat your favorite foods and still reduce your weight.

Disadvantages:

One of Proactol’s components, opuntia, may interact with medicines for cholesterol. It may also impair vitamin absorption in the body, and unlike other diet pills, it is not an energy booster.

Cost of Proactol:

Proactol has Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond Weight Management packs. The Bronze pack contains a four week supply of 120 pills and is priced at $68.95. The Silver pack contains 240 pills and costs $265.80. The Gold pack costs $389 and contains a 12 week supply of 360 tablets. The Diamond pack lasts for 16 weeks and contains 480 pills and a 90-pill supply of Pure Acai Berry, and this costs $589 altogether.

Conclusion:

Proactol is a 100% clinically proven supplement to reduce weight and cholesterol levels in the body. You can use this pill to lose weight and keep it off without giving up on good food. If taken with regular exercise, it will make a dramatic change to your body weight. For many dieters, the loss of their favorite foods is often a deal breaker when choosing a new diet or supplement, and Proactol is an ideal alternative for them. Remember that when you begin a new program, you should always consult with your physician first.

The world’s first animal protest outside the headquarters of the United Nations took place in New York today.

The protest, which included 8 dogs of different breeds and sizes, was in support of Forever Against Animal Testing, a joint campaign by international beauty company The Body Shop and leading organisation working to end animal experiments, Cruelty Free International. The dogs took to the streets with protest signs, bandanas and miniature banners in show of their support.

The Body Shop and Cruelty Free International were joined by influential pet photographer @TheDogist, who has previously supported the campaign in Canada and the US, and influential Instagram pet influencer @louboutinanyc.

The protest aimed to highlight the shocking fact that 80% of countries worldwide still have no laws banning cosmetic animal tests and encourage consumers to support the campaign by signing the global petition at http://www.foreveragainstanimaltesting.com.

Once the petition reaches 8 million signatures, The Body Shop and Cruelty Free International will present it to the United Nations, calling for an international convention to ban animal testing on cosmetics to protect millions of animals around the world. Last week, the organisations met with UN officials to progress discussions on the topic.

Having gathered 4.1 million signatures in the last six months, the petition is now the biggest ever against animal testing in cosmetics. The Body Shop and Cruelty Free International are inviting all companies that are against cosmetic animal testing to pledge support for the campaign, and is supplying assets to help other companies and their employees get involved.

In September 2017, The Body Shop was acquired from L’Oreal by Natura, the Brazilian-listed multi-national cosmetics company, which is cruelty-free and a publicly-listed B Corp.   Both Natura and The Body Shop’s new sister company, Aesop, have today officially backed the campaign.

Jessie Macneil-Brown, Head of Global Campaigns, The Body Shop, says: “At The Body Shop we believe passionately in animal welfare and that animals shouldn’t be used for cosmetic testing. We staged our animal protest with dogs, as they have been a powerful symbol for us throughout our Forever Against Animal Testing campaign, representing the relationship we have with animals and connecting with our cruelty-free supporters. This unique protest is symbolic of our huge ambition for ending cosmetic animal testing globally. We are now calling on every person, every company and every government to join our campaign, and help us finish what we started”.

Michelle Thew, CEO of Cruelty Free International says: “Today’s protest sends a strong message to consumers and brands around the world that we need their support. We have made huge progress towards our goal of banning animal testing for cosmetics, but there is still work to be done. We want to see every company that is against animal testing pledge their support and encourage their customers to do the same”.

Elias Friedman, photographer at @TheDogist, said “I supported The Body Shop’s Forever Against Animal Testing campaign when it launched, and it’s great to be here at home in New York at the first ever pet protest at the United Nations. The protesting dogs represent all animals and remind us why animal testing in cosmetics should be banned once and for all.”

Since the government has allowed non-EU residents to buy property in ready now and off plan projects; a significant rise has observed in this sector. Freedom to purchase a suitable unit in residential and commercial projects along with an option to invest in infrastructure and development project has even encouraged individuals to invest who don’t want to purchase residential and commercial properties.

International investors, business executives and high-net-worth individuals are showing great interest to avail second citizenship via real estate investment option. Their primary aim is to obtain a trusted passport to enjoy visa-free travel across the European Union countries. Economic citizenship programs offer full native rights to an applicant and his family. Once Cypriot ID is issued, individual and his family will be allowed to live, work and study.

How it facilitate Non-EU nationals to obtain a second passport?

Non-EU applicants across the world are allowed to purchase properties with freehold ownership rights. They may either buy commercial space for their business or residence after applying to the Council of Ministers. Once permission is granted, applicants can proceed for property possession without restriction. How to Create Segmentation for Email Marketing Success?

Email marketing is the all-time favorite strategy for marketers around the country and there are plenty of reasons for that too. This digital marketing method helps you reach into the inbox of the busy going professionals. The present day professionals might skip the social networks, newspapers or television for a day or two, but they make it a point to regularly check their inboxes. In this age of Internet literacy, there are hardly many, among your target customers group, who do not use emails. And often a professional might have more than one email to keep a tab on his/her areas of interest. But having said this, the full potential of email marketing is not being utilized by the brands yet. And the folly lies in their digital marketing tactics.

Just like a social media post cannot arouse interest among everyone. Much like your discounts cannot be applicable for everyone. Similarly, a single email content cannot interest everyone. And if you happen to send out a generalized marketing mail, it will fail to live up to its potential. So, the only solution is to create well defined segments for your email marketing campaigns. These segments would allow you to send information (through mailers) that arouses interest and serves your end purpose of generating leads. So, how to create these customer segments for your email marketing campaigns? Let us give you a guideline.

Soft Selling Approach for Newbies

Customers who are still in the brand discovery mode, without much of an idea about your brand or its reputation, should be put into this category. As they are still quite iffy about your brand, there is no point of turning them off with the hard selling email content.

Blended Approach for the Middle Trotters

So, the customer has now started trusting your brand and has been following your emailers for a certain while. It is now time to expose him/her to your sales offers very subtly. While such emailers would remain high on information, they would also showcase offers that are too hard to refuse.

Hard Selling Approach for Loyalists

So, the customer has made a couple of purchases and likes your service offerings, it is now time to shift the customer to the next email list. This list would be specifically for the purchase oriented customers. You would send periodical updates of new products and services. There would be mentions of special discounts and time limited offers.

With these segmentations in place, your emails will never land up in the Spam boxes (which is a sort of earning Likes in the Social Media world).
