Alpanit is a jewelry glass. The term was introduced by Swarovski in the early 90s of the last century to denote a new type of glass for rhinestones. The firm keeps the exact formula of alpanite secret, but it is known that this material is a potassium-calcium glass enhanced by the addition of aluminosilicates.

The buzzword had to taste the producers of jewelry, and soon after Swarovski, alpanite began to call any colored (almost painted outside) glass used for making jewelry.

This approach, of course, is erroneous. There is a considerable difference between Swarovski’s Alpanite and faceted bottle glass.

The properties of alpanite are superior to those of ordinary glass.

Mankind has been keen on glassmaking for at least three thousand years. During this time, substances have been identified that are capable of melting to give a glassy mass. One of the most ancient and valued is a pot glass recipe.

For its production preparing the mixture of chalk, wood ash and sand. The resulting glass is clearly green (color is the result of mixing iron inevitably present in wood), it is difficult to work with it, but it glitters very well!

The so-called leucosapphire, which is crystallized alumina, shines even better. Among other things, leucosapphire is hard and durable.

Swarovski company specialists managed to get an alloy of leucosapphire and potash glass. The result of the experiments exceeded expectations: the physical properties of alpanite — the name given to the new material “Alpine” —has been excellent.

Alpanit is a popular material for jewelry.

From the usual “Swarovski crystals” made of lead glass (crystal), and colored Murano glass, alpanite is different. The optical properties of the new material suggest the unobstructed penetration of the light flux through the polished faces of the alpanite insert.

Due to the increased light transmission of the material, the faces seen through the top surface of the product are not so dark, and in many anglers can merge with each other – thereby creating the effect of a luminous nebula.

In addition, alpanite perfectly takes many coloring additives – although by its nature it reacts best to metal ions. Copper oxide gives Alpanite tones of may grass. Iron gives alpanite a variety of shades of muted green. Chrome colors the glass melt in blue tones. Manganese is chemically bound to iron and makes alpanite shine with different shades of red and purple.

Different shades of green and blue are the most popular and most numerous in the range of alpanite inserts. Austrian experts offer a variety of colors of artificial stone. In the catalogs of the company there are more than two hundred positions of alpanite, colored both in yellow, and in red, and in brown.

Alpanite rhinestones are easy!

Low density is an important property of alpanite. Lead glass, or crystal, dense; its products are heavy. Therefore, to decorate clothes (ballroom and concert dresses, formal dresses, fancy dress) crystal crystals can be used with limited.

Numerous adornments made of alpanite are much lighter than crystal ones. Fashion designers, designers and costume designers get more freedom of action by choosing alpanite rhinestones!

The price factor is also important. Alpanit is cheaper than crystal! By occupying lower price positions in all lists of art glass, alpanite ensures a high – and continuously growing – popularity.

Practicality is an inherent property of alpanite

The hardness and durability of alpanite jewelries is such that the manufacturer recommends their daily wearing while maintaining high consumer properties. It is impossible to say that alpanite does not scratch at all and does not get cloudy from surface microdamages. But the rate of natural reduction in the quality of the alpanite insert is much lower than that of crystal rhinestones and many natural gems!

The first Alpanites are more than twenty years old. With careful handling and careful handling of products, the aesthetic expressiveness of Alpanite has not diminished over the years, the Swarovski Company convinces the consumer. Photos of Alpanit confirm the validity of the judgments: Alpanite rhinestones, released years ago – still as good as new!

Therapeutic and magical properties of alpanita

Stories are known thousands of cases when man-made objects (mirrors, cold arms, candles) and materials (black silk velvet, red glass of Moscow Kremlin stars) became guides from the real world to the magic world. However, Alpanit – unfortunately or fortunately – this role is not yet available.

“Ruby” – in fact, from glass with the addition of gold or selenium – the stars of the Kremlin towers instantly became the object of both admiration and hatred. After replacing it with a new, red glass, exhibited in front of the whole world for decades and “saturated” with human passions, becomes the subject of magical rituals.

Alpanit, which has existed for only two decades and has been used exclusively as an inexpensive adornment, is not yet the focus of spiritual power. What does not interfere with the successful use of material as a tool of psychotherapy?

People are also using Alpanit as a Crystal Energy Generator Tools which helps you in medication.
